Love is Love: Free Cross Stitch Pattern

Introduction

June is Pride Month—a time to celebrate love in all its shapes, colors, and sizes. It’s also a time to stand up and speak out: to keep fighting for a world where everyone is respected, seen, and free to be who they are.

Inspired by these values, I’ve designed a small free cross stitch pattern with a clear and powerful message: Love is love. Because love needs no justification—only safe spaces where it can bloom.

Materials Needed

To complete this cross stitch project, you’ll need:

• A piece of 14 ct. Aida fabric (white or light-colored so the rainbow tones stand out)
• DMC Mouliné threads in the following rainbow colors: 349, 352, 550, 553, 699, 704, 722, 796, 809, 900, 3822, 3852, 3799
• Size 24 tapestry needle
• Embroidery hoop (optional)

This pattern is perfect for stitching during Pride Month or for gifting to someone special as a sign of love and support. It’s small, quick to stitch, and very eye-catching.
