Introduction
Christmas is that time of year when trees are dressed up with colorful lights and sparkling ornaments. Although I confess that I am not a particularly Christmas-y person, I have a weakness for Christmas trees.
I remember decorating the fir tree in the garden and the plastic tree in the dining room, always making sure that all the elements were well distributed and balanced. Opening with my sister Irene the boxes of ornaments that had been locked in the attic for a year is a memory of my childhood that I keep very fondly.
This free cross stitch pattern is a small tribute to all the Christmas trees that fill so many houses with light and color every year.
