Free Cross Stitch Pattern: A Love Letter To Myself

Introduction

Valentine's Day is that time of the year when we focus on making our partner feel special and loved. But who is that ideal partner who accompanies us, loves us and takes care of us for life? The answer is very easy: ourselves.

Thinking about this valuable reflection I have created a cross stitch pattern entitled “A Love Letter to Myself”.

Materials needed

In order to make this cross stitch project you will need:

• A piece of 14 count cross stitch fabric. Keep in mind how you want to finish it to cut the right piece of fabric (the embroidery without margins measures 95 x 149 stitches or 17 x 27 cm in 14 ct. fabric)
• DMC Mouliné threads in the following colors: 153, 445, 535, 553, 603, 605, 964, 3812
• Number 24 blunt tip needle
• Embroidery hoop (optional)

Here are some of the ways you can customize this cross stitch pattern:

Make a hem around the fabric and make some large pleats at the top and bottom. Insert some wooden strips the width of the embroidery and hang it like a flag in a place where you will always have it in view.
